Since this is my first post let me introduce myself! My name is Coretta Owen, I live in good old Connecticut with my husband Josh, daughters Corinne and McKenzie, my stepdaughter Janae on most weekends and our two dogs. I am lucky enough to stay at home with my babies. Who am I kidding, in this economy who can afford daycare for two children under 2! I spend most of days singing nursery rhymes, crafting, playing at the park and changing diapers. I feel it is really important and beneficial to my girls to be as cheesy as possible at all times so they do not stop smiling and laughing.
A few months ago I decided to pursue a Labor Doula certification through CAPPA. I am extremely passionate about pregnancy and all things related to babies. Since we don't plan on having anymore I can live vicariously through other Mommies!
I'm also knee deep in planning Corinne's Sesame Street themed 2nd Birthday party! Elmo and Abby Cadabby are official Rock Stars in the Owen household.
